Assignment 7: Hybrid animal

My Hybrid animal is a mix of a lizard (Chameleon), and a squirrel. The Strongest technical aspect of my work is the way I fit the head of the squirrel on the lizard. I believe it is the strongest aspect of my work, because I had to use the clone stamp tool to use the lizards green color. The technical aspect of my work that I can improve on is the way I placed the squirrel tail on the lizard body, I could have used the clone stamp or a blending tool to make the tail look like it was apart of the lizard.

The easiest part about this art activity was lowering the opacity on the squirrel head, and tail. It was easy because I only had to lower it to about 95 percent. It was also easy to use the masking tool on the squirrel so I could get rid of its body, and keep the head, and tail. The difficult part about this assignment was getting rid of the lizard's curly tail, I had to use the clone stamp to go over it, because if I used the masking, or erasing tool it would have left a large, noticeable empty space.

The objective of this art activity was to mix two animals together, and to us the masking tool, and stamp tool. I demonstrated the objective by using the body of a lizard, and the head, and tail of a squirrel. I used the masking, and stamp tool the make the squirrel body parts belonged on the lizard body.  If I could do this activity again I would give the lizard a pair of squirrel legs, and change the opacity of the squirrel head, tail, and legs.
